The BPIA has engaged with the City of Biddeford to address resident concerns about parking and traffic safety issues. Joanne Fisk, Chief of Police, is establishing a Parking and Traffic Safety committee.  Marnie Black and Les Smith generously volunteered to represent the BPIA Board of Directors on this committee.

BPIA Bylaws: The BPIA Board is working with outside counsel to update the organization's bylaws in conjunction with the separation of the Biddeford Pool Conservation Trust (BPCT, previously the BP Land Trust) from its parent, the BPIA.

The BPIA Board has decided to provide financial support for a joint BPIA/ BPCT project to remove invasive vegetation along Ocean Avenue.  Watch this spot for more information on this and other new BPIA projects.
