Annual meeting
The BPIA Annual Meeting was held at the Fire Barn on July 20, 2024. Presentations were made by Lawrence Best, Fire Chief; Roby Fecteau, Code Enforcement/Emergency Management; Joanne Fisk, Chief of Police; and Liam LaFountain, City Council President.
Invited guests Dr. James Herbert, President, The University of New England; Lucie Fontein, President of the BP Conservation Trust; and Jeff Goldsmith of the Biddeford Coastal Preservation Coalition made informative remarks.
Marnie Black, Andy Page, and Les Smith were elected as directors. David Beanland was reelected (for an extended term) as Board President and George H. Talbot was approved as Board Secretary.
